The Value Added Medicines Alliance (the “Alliance”) hosts conferences and other events which bring together stakeholders involved in, or pursuing opportunities in respect of, companies and/or products utilizing the 505(b)(2) regulatory development pathway of the U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (collectively, the “conferences”). The purpose of these conferences is to present and discuss ideas, initiatives and strategies to benefit the Alliance, its mission, its members and eligible non-members, and for attendees to exchange information about value added medicine companies and/or products in all aspects of drug development and commercialization.
Each conference may include the delivery and exchange of opinions, statements, materials, documentation and other information, in oral or written form (collectively, “materials”), expressed or otherwise shared by (i) presenters that the Alliance has invited to participate and (ii) attendees. All such materials are strictly for informational purposes only, and the statements, views and opinions expressed at any conference, or contained in any related materials, are those solely of the presenters or attendees, as the case may be, and not of the Alliance.
The Alliance does not endorse or recommend any presenter, promoter, investment advisor or analyst, broker-dealer, company or strategy, nor any statements by any such persons or others at a conference. Under no circumstances will the Alliance (or any of its directors, officers, employees or other agents) be liable for any information or materials provided during a conference, nor any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of presenters or attendees, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from any conference.
Under no circumstances will the Alliance make any investment recommendations or provide investment advice of any kind to any attendees. The Alliance does not provide services, or otherwise act, as a promoter, finder, investment advisor or analyst, broker-dealer, underwriter or market-maker. No materials, nor any communications from the Alliance, shall constitute investment advice or a recommendation, endorsement, solicitation, or general or public advertisement for the purchase or sale of any securities, or any other transaction.
All prospective presenters and attendees at any conference should consult with, and rely upon, their own personal legal counsel, accountants or other advisors as to the legal, tax and economic implications of any potential investment or partnering opportunities.
